RenovaLink Terms of Service

Effective Date: September 19th, 2025
Last Updated: September 19th, 2025

Welcome to RenovaLink. By accessing or using our website, platform, or services, you agree to the following Terms of Service (“Terms”). Please read them carefully before using our services.

1. Overview

RenovaLink (“we,” “our,” or “us”) operates as a home renovation concierge and contractor referral platform. We connect homeowners with licensed, insured, and qualified contractors for residential remodeling projects.

By using RenovaLink’s website, submitting a project request, or partnering as a contractor, you agree to these Terms.

2. Nature of Our Service

RenovaLink is not a general contractor and does not perform physical work.
We act as an intermediary between homeowners and independent contractors to:

  • Match homeowners with qualified professionals,

  • Facilitate communication,

  • Oversee the project process for quality assurance, and

  • Help coordinate materials and payments when applicable.

All contractors operate as independent businesses. They are solely responsible for the quality, safety, and completion of their work.

3. Homeowner Payments and Material Deposits

Homeowners may be required to submit a 30% material deposit based on the total project quote.

  • This deposit is used exclusively for project materials and preliminary labor preparation.

  • The remaining 70% of the project balance is paid after final work completion and homeowner approval.

  • RenovaLink may facilitate payment transfers but does not hold funds as an escrow service.

  • Payments are released directly to contractors only after the homeowner approves the completed work.

4. Contractor Responsibilities

Contractors (“RenovaLink Verified™” professionals) must:

  • Maintain valid licenses and active liability insurance,

  • Provide proof of insurance and licensing prior to project approval,

  • Communicate promptly and professionally with homeowners, and

  • Complete all work to industry standards and local building codes.

Contractors agree to indemnify and hold RenovaLink harmless from any claims, disputes, or damages related to their work.

5. Homeowner Responsibilities

Homeowners agree to:

  • Provide accurate project information during intake,

  • Maintain accessibility to the property during scheduled work,

  • Communicate promptly with RenovaLink representatives and contractors, and

  • Release payment upon satisfactory project completion.

6. Dispute Resolution

In the event of a disagreement between a homeowner and contractor, RenovaLink may act as a neutral mediator to help resolve the issue.
RenovaLink does not guarantee outcomes and is not responsible for contractor negligence, delays, or quality disputes.

7. Limitation of Liability

RenovaLink is not liable for:

  • Damages, losses, or costs arising from contractor performance,

  • Delays caused by weather, materials, or other unforeseen events,

  • Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

Our maximum liability under any circumstance shall not exceed the amount paid to RenovaLink for facilitating the specific project in question.

8. Data and Privacy

We respect your privacy. Please review our Privacy Statement to understand how your personal information is collected, used, and protected.

9. Updates to These Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. The latest version will always be posted on our website with a new effective date. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
